After integrating Twitter to its search results, Microsoft is now collaborating with Wolfram Alpha for getting its computational algorithm technology into the search results of Bing . The Wolfram Alpha feature will be made available to the U.S-based Bing users within a few days. Initially the roll out will be limited to nutrition & fitness areas along with mathematical computational technology so that users are able to make informed decisions with their Bing search results.

Of late, Microsoft has conducted a study that shows that images give the users 20% faster search results than the text only. Hence, it has become clear that images play a key role in various search activities for movies, cars, news and different products. Ten days ago, there were reports that Antonio Gulli left Ask.com after heading up their technology team for four years in the European R&D center. But now the news comes that Gulli has announced his new plans to continue his work in search technology and user interface for Microsoft Bing. When asked, Gulli said he will be “leading all the engineering development for UX and verticals in Europe,” he will be working at Microsoft’s London site of STC Europe nearby Carnaby Street and his focus will be on Microsoft Bing’s search technology and user interface
