A new feature known as “parameter handling” has been recently introduced by Google under site configuration of Google Webmaster Tools. Google Parameter handling is meant to inform Google as to which parameters in the URL they should ignore. It is highly useful technique for tracking the parameters added to the URL.

Google Image Changes SafeSearch Switch

Google image search has made it easier for users to toggle the SafeSearch by including settings switch menu on the results page. Earlier, instead of directly linking to the settings page, users were supposed to toggle a radio button option and then hit a save button. SafeSearch, the adult image filter of Google prevents adult content from showing up in the image results
