Google officially renamed as Topeka!

It all started with the Google’s ‘Fibre for Communities’ program. While many mayors and cities decided on outdoing each other in heightened antics to drive Google’s attention, the capital city of Kansas issued a proclamation to temporarily change its name to Google. Now, to return the gesture, Google has changed its name to Topeka

Google Acquires reCAPTCHA

Google has finally acquired reCAPTCHA , which is a company that provides CAPTCHAs to help protect more than 100,000 websites from spam and fraud. CAPTCHAs are services used by websites to prevent malicious programs from scalping tickets or to get millions of email accounts for spamming. But the downside is that the words that are used in CAPTCHAs come from old books and scanned archival newspapers .
